  9. INTRODUCTION
  10.  
  11.   CARD is a program for more technically minded people to test the
  12.   performance of their graphics card and monitor.  It tests all the
  13.   different video modes and colours on your graphics adaptor.  It highlights
  14.   any problems with monitor convergence, focus, linearity, picture position,
  15.   and picture size.  And it comes complete with instructions on how to
  16.   correct most of the problems that may be found.

  18.   This version of CARD is shareware, and may be tried out free of charge
  19.   for a limited period.

  22. INSTALLING THE PROGRAM
  23.  
  24.   CARD must be installed onto another disk drive with at least 
  25.   360KB free space, using the supplied installation program:
  26.  
  27.   1. Put the Installation Disk in drive A: or B:.
  28.  
  29.   2. Go to a DOS command line.
  30.  
  31.   3. Enter "x:INSTALL" where "x" is A or B indicating the drive with the
  32.      Installation Disk.
  33.  
  34.   4. Press "I" to begin installation.  When requested, enter the drive and/or
  35.      directory to install the program to, or just press <Enter> to accept the
  36.      default.

  38.   5. Press "X" to exit from the Install utility, and then enter "CARD"
  39.      to run the program.  The program can also be run from within the
  40.      Install utility by pressing "R".

  43. RUNNING THE PROGRAM

  45.   Go to the directory containing the CARD package and enter
  46.

  49.   at the DOS command prompt.

  52. DOCUMENTATION

  54.   The complete shareware documentation is contained in the CARD.DOC file
  55.   that is accessible after the program is installed.   The document is 20
  56.   pages long in ASCII format with formfeeds being the only control characters.
  57.   To print the file simply enter
